An eye-catching, bright and bold plant with blooms that have intricate and decorative markings. Flowers the same year from an early sowing.

Plants are compact and busy, making it ideal for pots and containers or for the front of the border. The dark foliage contrasts well against the strong shade of yellow. Try mixing with a shade of bright pink for a dreamy mix.

Sow & Grow:

Sow indoors, a warm kitchen windowsill is all you need for starting these seeds. Sow 0.5cm (¼”) deep, in a tray of compost. Water well and place in a temperature of 15-20˚C (60-68˚F). Seedlings usually appear in 14-28 days. Keep moist. Transplant to other trays 5cm (2”) apart when large enough to handle. (Always hold seedlings by a leaf, never by the stem.) Gradually accustom young plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts), before planting out to flowering position, allowing 15cm (6”) between plants.Early sowings will flower the same year. Those from July onwards will flower the following spring.
