Reliable high yielding 'Detroit' type producing globe shaped beets with a deep red colour. Suitable for growing as baby or standard beets. Prefers a fertile soil.
Sow outdoors April-July.
Harvest June-October, twist the tops off as this prevents 'bleeding'.
