Perfect for adults and kids alike, these are a great idea as they do away with the need for fiddly thinning of seedlings which can be a bit of a chore! Simply cover the mats with soil or compost, water well and watch your seedlings grow – it couldn’t be easier!

Sow & Grow:
Sow indoors, warm kitchen windowsill is all you need to start these seeds. Simply fill a 9cm pot with compost, leaving 1.5cm gap from the top of the post for easy watering later on. Place the mat on the compost and firm down gently. Cover with a fine layer of compost, water well. Place in a warm position, a temperature of 15-20°C is ideal. Keep moist. Plants can then be grown on a cool, light windowsill.
Harvest: Pick a few leaves from each plant so the re grow quickly. Leaves are best picked immediately before use. For maximum flavour herb leaves should be added to cooked dishes at last minute.
