When the lawn puddles or becomes waterlogged it can have detrimental effects on the grass plants. The roots become surrounded with water and cannot breathe. Its time to improve the drainage of the lawn to rescue the roots of your grass. Its all very well simply spiking drainage holes into the turf, but these can quickly fill in again leaving the problem unresolved. Instead aerate the whole lawn with a hollow tine aerator that removes plugs of soil from the turf. Then brush in the new Lawn & Turf Dressing. This will fill the holes and enhance over all drainage.
