Fun with seed packets are made with kids/children in mind with cool looking packaging to make them more attractive to the younger generation and filled with cleverly picked seeds this packet is filled with pumpkin seeds to encourage children to grow their own. Best thing is they can eat the pumpkins from making soups or pies and then carve or paint scary/spooky faces in the hollowed out produce for Halloween.

Sow & Grow:
Sow indoors, April-May. Put 1 or 2 seeds, 1.5cm (½”) deep, in pots of seed compost. After a few weeks, when the seedlings are growing strongly, place them outside for a few hours during the day (avoid frosts). Plant out in the garden, late May to June. Or, sow outdoors, May-June, where they are to crop. Allow 1m (40″) between plants. Pinch out the very tip of the plant to help contain its size, once 4 fruits have started to grow. Water regularly. Harvest: September-November.
