The thick dark green leaves are packed with goodness and can be eaten as baby leaves in salads or mature plants can be steamed and used in cooking. Prefers a moist fertile soil.
Sow outdoors February-June.
Harvest April-August. For individual baby leaves, pick as required, a few from each plant, they will regrow for 3-4 cuts. Harvest mature plants once they have developed.
