Description
Carrot Paris Market 5 Atlas Seeds – Mr Fothergills
Smooth round, bite-size carrots which are fast to mature and have good flavour. Can be grown in containers or even in clay soils.
Key Features:
- Easily sown direct in the garden
- Sow little and often for a continuous crop
- Average 1000 seeds
- Regular sowings, made every three weeks, will ensure a continuous supply of young roots.
Sow & Grow:
Outdoors: sow thinly, March-July, where they are to crop, 1.5cm (½”) deep, directly into finely-prepared, well-drained soil, which has already been watered. Allow 20cm (8″) between rows. Early sowings may benefit cloche protection. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Thin by harvesting young carrots evenly from the row, allowing remainder to grow on. Water well until plants are established. Harvest: June-October.
